What's involved

Get ready for a fast and furious experience with the quarry karts in Snowdonia.

These gravity-fuelled, three-wheeled karts aren’t for the faint-hearted as they hurtle down a 3k slate track that’s jam-packed with obstacles such as chicanes, banked
corners and tunnels.

You’ll get two runs each, starting a whopping 1,500ft above sea level. Take in the incredible views before making your exhilarating descent that lasts
between three and five minutes.

These unique karts have a wide wheelbase, low centre of gravity, and hydraulic, independent disc brakes that help you to whizz and drift around the corners.

The Quarry Karts are located at Zip World’s Penrhyn Quarry site, the only mountain cart experience in the UK.

- Age restriction: 15+. - Experience duration: Approx. 1.5 hours. - Dress code: Trousers, long sleeves and gloves.
