Starlite Festival

Weather in Marbella

Marbella offers totally gorgeous weather, making it the perfect year-round destination for a hen do! Spring in Marbella is pure bliss. From March to May, temperatures are a comfy 17-25°C (63-77°F). Think sunny days, cool breezes and the occasional light shower. It’s the ideal time to stroll through the Old Town or relax on the beach without the summer crowds and very hot weather.

Summer is when Marbs truly shines. From June to August, the temperatures soar to a sizzling 25-35°C (77-95°F). This is beach club season where you can bask in endless sunshine, take a refreshing dip in the sea and enjoy those long, balmy nights. Don’t forget your sunscreen because it’s hot, hot, hot!

Autumn brings a gentle cool down from September to November. With temperatures ranging from 18-28°C (64-82°F), it’s perfect for exploring in comfort and dining al fresco without breaking a sweat. You might catch a rare rainy day, but they’re few and far between.

Winter in Marbella is mild and pleasant. From December to February, expect temperatures around 12-20°C (54-68°F). While it’s not beach weather, it’s perfect for hiking in the nearby mountains or enjoying the festive lights in town. Rain is more common, but still not frequent enough to dampen your spirits, and nothing compared to what you might experience in other countries such as the UK!

Getting to Your Marbella Hen Do

You can fly from the UK to your hen do in Marbella in less than three hours. There isn’t an airport in Marbs but most visitors fly into Malaga airport and get a transfer to the resort. It only takes around 40 minutes to drive there and you’ll find loads of taxis waiting for you or you can pre-book transfers. Why not use this travel time to plan your first night out?

Buses are also a great option if you’re looking to save some cash for cocktails. They run regularly and can take you to most of Marbella’s hotspots. Just check the schedules and hop on. If you’re feeling more adventurous, you can rent bikes or e-scooters and zip around the promenade. It’s a fun and eco-friendly way to soak up the sun and sights with your girls.
