If all that sounds exhausting, don’t worry, your stag do in Snowdonia can also include some downtime. This region of North Wales is an 823 square mile National Park, boasting impressive scenery from coastline to glaciers. If you’re feeling brave, you can even trek up Mount Snowdon. Gorge Walking is a brilliant activity for anyone looking to get in the great outdoors! But forget a leisurely walk - this experience is more about scrambling, sliding and climbing as you wade through the waters. Don’t worry though, you won’t have to fend for yourselves, as you’ll be joined by an expert in all things gorge walking, who will take you down a fun and challenging route! All the essential safety kit and equipment will be provided, including wetsuits, hardhats and buoyancy aid. Get set to tackle waterfalls, canyons, smooth rock faces and bumpy nooks!
Prepare for the ultimate quarry kart experience with this top stag activity in Snowdonia! It’s fast, furious and bound to get that adrenaline pumping! There’s nothing quite like these three wheeled karts that will see you zipping around a 3k slate track that features all kinds of obstacles, including chichanes, tunnels and banked corners. Plus, you’ll be a mega 1,500 ft above sea level!
Now these aren’t activities for the faint hearted, cause these experiences take the humble zip wire to the max! There’s a plethora of zip based fun on offer in this great stag destination, where you’ll become acquainted with zip wires of all manners! From the heart pounding Velocity, where you’ll reach speeds of up to 100mph whilst being 180m high in the air, to Phoenix, the world’s fastest zip line where you can ride with your mates - they’ve really thought of everything here!
Another one of the greats from Zip World, say hello to Plummet2. You’ll make your way to the top of a 100ft tower, where you’ll experience an almost ‘free fall’ style experience. Once at the top, you’ll fall through a trapdoor, which you can do at the same time as your mate if you want! You’ll get a real adrenaline rush with this one, but don’t worry, the instructors will ensure you’re safe and securely fastened in, ready for your big drop!
Ok, so hear us out. Forget the generic back garden trampoline. This is trampolining to the extreme and here in Snowdonia, they don’t do things by half measures! For this unique experience, you’ll head to Bounce Below, a former mine that’s twice the size of St Paul’s Cathedral! Here, you’ll embark on an underground adventure, where you’ll discover giant trampolines on different levels, all safely secured by nets. You can even take a bounce at 180 ft high!
Why not kick off your Snowdonia stag weekend fun underground? Bounce Below is a trampolining activity on steroids! You’ll be bouncing around on huge nets in a disused mine that’s over 176 years old! This epic underground playground is twice the size of St Paul’s Cathedral, giving you tons of space to explore the netted walks, tunnels, slides and two mahoosive trampolines at different levels. One of them is 180ft up if you’re feeling brave!
If underground fun sounds good to you, why not explore the Caverns? This awesome assault course features tunnels, rope bridges, obstacle courses and the biggest underground zipline in Europe that you can tackle over the course of three action-packed hours. These caves have been inaccessible for over 200 years...until now.
Why not head to the Fforest and try your hand at Tobogganing? Hold on tight as you speed around the specially built track in the woodlands! For something that’ll push you to the limit and get your blood pumping, try the Zip Safari that’ll see you go along 22 ziplines in the treetops. You won’t stand on solid ground again until you’ve completed the entire course!
For a more classic stag activity, Paintballing in Snowdonia is always a group pleaser. You’ll be split into teams to compete against one another in the ultimate battle where you’ll get to pelt each other with paint. Get the groom-to-be to wear fancy dress for a hilarious photo op and to make him stick out like a sore thumb in the forest. He looks ripe for target practice to us!
There’s plenty of ways to make your way around the impressive sights of Snowdonia’s National Park, including park and ride buses and shuttlebuses. Cycling is also a great way to get around, so why not head to the nearest bike hire shop and rent some bikes for the day?
Alternatively, if you drove to Snowdonia for the stag do, then it’s definitely worth car sharing and heading to your daytime activities with ease.

We know that sounds a bit intimidating, but you’ll have a practice go on the Little Zipper first to get you ready and raring to go. There’s even a viewing area if some of your mates aren’t quite feeling up to it. Make sure they get some hilarious photos of your zipline ride!
As you may have realised by now, the outdoor activities here are more adrenaline-pumping than chilled out but if you want to take it a bit easier, there’s still plenty of opportunities to do that on your stag do in Snowdonia.
Exploring your surroundings by foot is a must and this area’s a walker’s dream with more than 1,400 public footpaths here. You’ll also discover that the nightlife is pretty chilled out here, making it perfect for a few peaceful pints with the lads.
The Skyride might not immediately strike you as being a laid-back activity, but if you’re OK with heights, you’ll love soaking up all the incredible views on your ride. The Skyride isn’t only Europe’s first five-seater swing, but it’s also the highest at a whopping 80ft up! One of your group will pull the trigger that’ll launch you into the sky and make your tummy flip before swinging you all back and forth over Zip World Fforest’s woodland and Conwy Valley.The nightlife is going to be fairly lowkey on a Snowdonia stag do compared to big cities, not that that’s a bad thing.
