What's involved
When you began planning your stag weekend, cruising around in an old Cold War-style military vehicle on a state-of-the-art track probably didn’t cross your mind. But now that we’re here…
Why not consider this amazing and unique experience, to give the stag an unforgettable send-off? To really give your weekend in Budapest the Buffalo Soldier edge, a specialist tank instructor will drive you around a purpose-built route, show you the ropes, and then give you and the lads a chance to take control of the monstrous machine!
Your guide will meet you at your accommodation, or a pre-arranged central location, and accompany you by bus transfer to the activity site. The journey is about an hour’s drive each way, so make sure you factor this in when making other arrangements for the same day. On arrival at the track, you’ll be greeted by your instructor, who will show you how to handle the MT-LB tank. After an initial circuit with the instructor, the testosterone can flow freely whilst some lucky members of your group take over the driving controls.
These classic, Russian-made MT-LB vehicles are quite the beast to manoeuvre, so your instructor will stay with you at all times, to help you change gear and navigate your way around the challenging track.
After your tank experience, your guide will accompany you back to your original meeting point. During the return journey, you can compare notes and decide who made the cut, until it’s time to head out for a night on the town.
Why not take the stress out of getting to your experience by booking return transfers? Available to book once the initial booking has been confirmed.
