What's involved
Professional street art can be seen across the globe, adorning cities with bright, striking murals. If you’ve ever wanted to be part of the street art movement yourself, now’s your chance!
In this Graffiti Art Masterclass, you’ll collaborate with your friends to make your own large-scale artwork.
Your workshop will kickoff with the fascinating history of the artform, all the way back to its subversive roots when it first started appearing on New York Subway cars in the 1970s and up to the cultural phenomenon it is today. You’ll be taught spray paint and stencilling techniques by a professional street artist.
Learn how to develop lettering, characters and backgrounds using paint cans or markers, or both! After a materials demonstration and a short safety briefing, you’ll get to work, brainstorming and sketching.
Your teacher will guide you as you begin to start adding lines, shapes and colour to your giant canvas.
This Graffiti Masterclass will show you the freshest techniques for one of the most exciting artforms around. It’ll make a unique experience for you and your friends, whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, an
Edinburgh hen party or
stag do in Edinburgh.
