What's involved

If adventure is where your heart lies, look no further than Newquay Activity Centre’s Coasteering experience!

Your 2-3 hour experience will be led by an experienced and friendly guide. You’ll be kitted up in wetsuits, helmets and other safety gear alike before heading off to the Adventure Gully Cave for an afternoon of sheer adrenaline and adventure.

Once inside the cave, you’ll get to attempt some horizontal climbing, traverse sea caves and jump into the crystal clear water gullies. Brace yourselves - it’s gonna be cold!

You’ll learn loads of other skills, too: wild swimming, negotiating sluices and river rapids, as well as how to technically traverse through the caves. You’ll also meet a variety of marine life that your guides will be ready to tell you all about!

Important information

From our brand new purpose-built centre, we will provide wetsuits, buoyancy aids and helmets. You will need to bring a pair of lace-up trainers with hard soles. Old trainers that fit you well will be perfect. If you don't have your own pair, we can provide trainers for a small hire charge. Remember to bring some swimwear to go under your wetsuit and a towel for afterwards
