We can reveal that May Bank Holiday is officially the busiest time of year. Interestingly, the number one location for both stag and hen groups has changed. Benidorm is now the number one stag do destination and Brighton has shifted into first place for hen groups. In terms of activities, Bubble Football has been crowned the top activity for stag groups closely followed by other stag classics, such as Clay Pigeon Shooting. Cocktail Making remains the most popular activity for hen groups.
May Bank Holiday is the Busiest Time In the Entire Year For Hen and Stags
As wedding season rapidly approaches, you should expect to see an increase in the number of groups celebrating their, or their loved ones, upcoming nuptials. It’s not a coincidence that your Instagram feed is suddenly inundated with blushing brides-to-be surrounded by friends and family wearing ‘team bride’ t-shirts. Nor is it a coincidence that you’ve seen an increasing number of groups cheerfully raising a glass to the stag on a night out.
The Stag Company and Fizzbox can reveal that May is the most popular time of year for both stag and hen weekends to take place.
Interestingly, 17% of both stag and hen groups choose to celebrate in May in comparison to 0.42% and 0.5% in December for stag and hens respectively.

Warmer weather, the fact it’s a long weekend, and, of course, the fact that wedding season begins.’
Fact 2: Benidorm Overtakes Prague at the Most Popular Stag Destinations for the First Time in Four Years

The Stag Company can reveal that Prague was the top selling location for the last four years, however, there has been a rise in Benidorm bookings causing it to overtake Prague for the top spot.
FACT 3: Brighton is Now the Most Popular Hen Do Destination

5. Bournemouth
Interestingly, Fizzbox has found that there has also been a shift in the most popular hen do location. For the first time, Brighton has overtaken London in popularity amongst hen groups. Our data shows that stag groups are more likely to travel to the EU for their weekend whilst hen groups are more likely to have a UK based hen party.
